3rd trimester girls, please come in
Is anyone else stressed?
I have mostly everything done, but not all, DH is probably stressing in his own way and we keep bickering everyday, and I've about had it with him...and why other issues have to come up on top of having 30 days left Especially ones dealing with inlaws
Is this normal feeling stressed everyday? I've had it with my stupid carpal tunnel, looking at my face which has widened and dealing with DH

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
Yes...it's very normal to feel stressed. I was stressed until I got the call that my furniture was in and we are getting it on Wed!!! There is still so much to do on top running around with a 2 year old and a 9yr old.
Trying to keep the house clean because if it's not it puts me in a mood...potty training...god the list goes on and on.
We are always fighting now because of my hormones and his snarky comments and me always having to ask for help. He upset me last night so I put my kids to bed and called my girlfriend and we went to dinner. It felt so good to get out though and I'm glad I did it.
Feel better and know your not alone...we all go through it at one time or another.

Yes!! I am way stressed. This is our first baby and im nervous about being a mom as DH is nervous to be dad. We are making some headway with the nursery which is good but there is just so much to do before gets here and we are running out of time!! I try not to worry about the weight gain, my face has definately gotten bigger and i don't remmeber what my ankles looked like but i know it's for a good reason!!

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
i'm due in 6 days and ready to kill DH. i don't even particularly LIKE him right now. he keeps worrying about house stuff like mowing and cutting the bushes (we moved into our new house 3 weeks ago) when the crib isn't set up, the wood floors in the nursery aren't finished, and none of the things I think will sleep in (other than the bassinet) are put together. Oh, but he wants to demo the one tub that I can shave my legs in, and leave only the stall shower bathroom, when we don't even have concrete plans to have the bathroom redone in the immediate future.
The car seat is not in either of our cars yet. And he is getting angry with me because I am not up to unpacking or hanging up paintings. I feel like I have been such a trooper, and he never ONCE fixed me a meal, made me a snack, asked me if I wanted anything, gave me a massage, etc., but I am 40 weeks pregnant and ******. I have thrown up, passed out, and never complained, and never missed a day of work, and wherever we go now he wants me to drive because my "car is more gas friendly." Because driving with a 40-inch belly is soooooo easy.
Oh, and he doesn't want to stay in the hospital with me because he won't be able to sleep as well. You know what makes sleeping hard? A 40-inch belly you jerk, insane heartburn, and getting up to pee 6 times a night.
Vent over. SO done being PG.

I feel your pain ladies. My furniture is not even here yet, and I ordered it in Feb. We are trying to fix up the house, and it seems like its taking forever. I am beyond stressed, and with the baby coming in a few short weeks we are trying to do everything before he makes his entrance.

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
Um, I am a mess this weekend.
DS needs to be moved into his "big boy" room and is still in the nursery. We can't seem to get our act together with the crib to bed transition and are now thinking toddler bed. No clue what to do
It seems silly, but I am so stressed that I have 3 names choices and can't decide at all among them My parents don't like my original choice. Now I see why people don't share their choices So I saw screw it and name what I want or go with back up name. I am SO SO scared of being in the hosp with her bassinet labled baby girl M because I can't decide.
I feel achey and big and am sick of ugly maternity clothes and CANNOT wait to wear cute stuff again!
This is my 2nd, but I am getting anxious of what to expect with labor and being in the hosp and am even worried about the logistics of how DS will get to my parents when I go into labor etc
So to sum it up I really want that drink that we are not allowed to have
ETA DH is at his busiest time of year and not being as supposrtive as I would like and doesn't seem "into" the new baby and that really bugs me! I also have to finalize what my maternity leave plans are and that gets into another source of stress at work as well as between DH and I

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
I had a little melt down last week but I'm doing good now. I put myself off duty for babysitting, school pick ups and soccer practice drop offs for my siblings. I'm trying really hard to work in some rest and get my to do list checked off one thing at a time. Whatever does not get done before baby, gets done after baby. My sister came over yesterday and today to help me do some painting (nursery trim, radiator cover and door and bathroom door). That was a big help.
It's funny... I have less than three weeks left and when it comes to getting things done, the days fly by but when it comes to getting to my next weekly OB appt., the days crawl!

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
Right there with all you ladies I will be 30w on Wednesday & I just feel so overwhelmed & stressed. DH & I went out it on Saturday night bc the nursery has YET to be started & my shower is a week from Saturday I want the room painted & in order so we can just unpack the shower items right into DS room. So over the weekend I called my FIL to put in the closet system in the nursery that I purchased over 2 weeks ago. DH was so mad but thankfully it got done I just feel like, if i don't do it, it won't get done! DH is in another mindset & I don't get it. Even though we have 10 weeks to go, I have a feeling I am going early & that is freaking me out more.
It is bad enough that our furniture is not in yet & is not due until mid July or August. I have to call today to see if they have an update. I just feel like the weeks & days are flying yet we are not ready for this baby to come

Re: 3rd trimester girls, please come in
Last week I was MAJORLY stressed. My to do list was insanely long and nothing was getting done. Towards the end of last week I got a few things done and felt a little bit better. The fact that for every one thing I cross off my list, two more seem to pop up doesnt seem to be helping things. I'm 35 weeks today (yay) and have a feeling that I'm going to be stressed till the end.
