4 months old - formula amount question
My DS is big and long for his age, but at almost 4 months old, he’s drinking around 35 oz. of formula/breast milk per day (mostly formula). And, if he’s having trouble napping b/c of the teething, it can be more. I’d like to know how much other 4-month olds drink typically. Thanks.

DS is just over 4 months and drinks about 32 oz per day. I try to get him to take at least 35/36 b/c the dr said that 32 oz is on the low side. His 4 month visit just over a week ago and he was 13 lbs 9 oz.

What do you mean "if he is having trouble napping b/c of teething?" is that b/c you use the bottle to soothe him? Will he take a pacifier?

No, sometimes he falls asleep, but wakes up in pain. I give him the pacifier, but not food to soothe.

DD is 14 weeks, she drinks between 25-30oz a day. At her last check up this past Tuesday, she weighted 13lbs 14oz (born 8lbs 12oz).
