4 week old with a cough? Advice please
My 2 yr old got sick last wednesday - diarrhea, sore throat, fever, cough. By friday the cough was TERRIBLE - he was choking on it.
Took him to the DR and he said it was viral - motrin and pediacare.
He STILL had a fever yesterday so I took him back - he has a sinus infection so he's on an antibiotic and a cough syrup.
I told the ped that I was worried the baby would get it. He said if he got a fever of 100.5 or higher to call and that they'd probably send him to the hospital
Last night the baby started sneezing and he has a phlemy cough, but no fever. He doesn't seem uncomfortable - but I'm soooooo worried.
I think I already know the answer but should I call the dr???? What should I do?

I hope he feels better and yes... call the Doc.
We've been using the Vick's plug-ins in Mason's room and it's been helping with his congestion and cough

The sneezing isn't a bad thing, DS sneezed a ton when he was 4 weeks. But the phlemy cough makes me think he might be getting sick, and you might want to catch it early

Thanks ladies! I'm really worried about him because my 2 year old was so sick for so long. I'm calling the dr when the office opens at 1.

my DD has a cough on occasion with some congestion -- but it's reflux related.
my ped said as long as theres no fever or breathing issues to just ride it out
