4 year old weight gain? or lack of
I am starting to get a little worried that my 4 year old is not gaining weight. Infact, it seems as if he had lost weight. I am making him a drs. appt. today to address my concerns. Can you please tell me your childs height and weight at four. TIA

Sara is 4 1/2 - she weighs about 41 pounds and is approx 43 inches

My DS turned 3 in April and I think he is anorexic. He barely eats. I doubt he has gained much weight.
How much are they supposed to gain yearly as toddlers?

My DD is 4 and weighs 50lbs on the nose and is 44 inches tall. At her 3 year check up, she was 45lbs. and 41.5 inches. I'm not sure if that's too much to gain, not enough, just right, etc.

Kaitee just turned 4 and she has only gained maybe a pound in the last 8 months. She eats like crazy too. She is 37 lbs.

Looks like I have the runt of the group. DD will be 4 at the end of the month and although she has not had her check-up yet I estimate she's about 30lbs and about 38inches.

DS is IMO very skinny,but believe it or not he is 75th pctile in height and weight. We just went this week for 4yr check up he was 39lbs (was 36 @ 3yrs old) and 41.5"
