Did anyone's 1 Year Old lose weight?

So I had Ronan at the Dr about 2 weeks ago for an ear infection-he weighed 22 3/4. Yesterday he went and she weighed him at 21.2....I KNOW she misread the scale I think he was closer to 22. But it seems like a lot to lose in 2 weeks...even if it was just 3/4 of a pound. I did start him on milk around that time and he refused a few bottles but was still eating great as far as table food. The Dr was not concerned, but I am a little....

yeah AJ lost weight.

I dont know what happened.
They think she may not have gotten it right on the scale, but hello, its digital and the procedure was identical

I dont know what to think... it was all messed up. Her weight was less, she was shorter and her head was smaller! Going to have to get completely remeasured again.

DD didn't lose weight but from her 15 month to her 18 month appointment, she gained 1 pound and grew 3 1/2 inches... I think he sounds fine but my DD is a peanut.

ds lost 3 lbs when he switched to whole milk.... he also had been sick so my ped thought it may have been a combination of those two things

DD only went from 22.6 to 22.12 in 3 mths,from 9 mths to 12 mths, after gaining so much, so fast all those other months.

Dr said it's totally normal to not gain or even lose a bit due to changes in diet and activity. Don't worrY!!

Yup. He started walking around 11 months, plus he was sick for awhile right around a year, so he went from the 20% percentile (this is where he has always been for weight) to the 10% percentile. Scared me a bit--no fun having a skinny child get skinnier right before flu season too. But he gained weight--next visit he was back at the 20% percentile.

I dont' know if this helps any -
but its happened a couple times that my daughters have lost weight and shrunk in size at the doctors office.

I don't believe it for a second (especially that fact that they have shrunk in size) - some of the assistants in the office weigh her so fast and many times DDs move around that it would of been impossible for anyone to get an accurate reading for height or weight.

I wouldn't worry - especially if he has been eating fine

Yup I took kaydyn to her 12 month appt and she weighed 21 1/2 lbs. I took her back 2 weeks later for an eye infection and she weighed 20 1/2 lbs. I just figured one or both measurements was wrong and figured she was around 21 lbs.

DD lost weight last month from being sick and she's drinking less and less formula, she hasn't been weighed yet for her 11 month appt but I'm pretty sure she didn't gain as much as she normally did this month either!!!
