I couldn't do it but who am I to say someone else shouldn't. The only time I spent an exorbitant amount of money on something for Abby was for her baby naming dress. After that, sale racks.

My DD grows like a weed, so no way. If it was something she'd wear for a while, and I loved it, maybe. But it would be a rare splurge, not my norm.

thats a little too much for me to spend on a t-shirt. I just feel like they grow out of their clothes so fast and wouldnt get to wear it that much for all that money spent on it...
if it was for a special occasion or would get worn alot then maybe, but thats still pushing it (for me anyway)

Honestly, no-I would never spend that on a kids T-shirt. It's not an affordability issue for me; it just doesn't jive with what I think is an appropriate amount for a kids t-shirt.

That said, it doesn't mean I think you are wrong for paying that. Everyone makes their own rules.
