Your kindness is so overwhelming! It's been an emotional 2 days but it's helped knowing people care. Yesterday afternoon the baby was moved to the NICU of a nearby hospital because her platelets were low. Today her heart rate dropped and she weighs less than she did yesterday  Again, the doctors say that she is holding her own. I found out that she is 17 1/4" but now weighs less than 4 lbs. On a happy note my brother made it home this evening and was able to meet his daughter for the first time  When I asked how did it feel, he said "weird". I'm happy that he is finally home!
I'm caring for both of my sick grandparents right now so won't be able to go up to see her for a week or so but I can't wait.

She's beautiful and I'll keep her in my prayers. BTW, NICUs do amazing things. My friend had twins that each weighed only 1lb and a few ounces. It was a rough few months but they are now happy and healthy 2 year olds.
