Hope he feels better soon!
If the recycling the accident doesn't get better in a couple weeks, he should consider counseling. It's pretty common to have PTSD after an accident.

I'm so so sorry DH was hurt, but I'm also so glad that it wasn't worse - it sounds like it could have been a lot worse!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone's kind words. DH had surgery two days ago and had a titanium plate and 11 screws put into his wrist. It will be a slow healing process but the surgeon assured us that he will be strong enough to hold our baby in 7 weeks!

i'm very happy to hear that he's ok. sending you and him lots of my dh is a police officer as well and it kills me that they put their life on the line each and every day.  one never knows what a new day will bring.
