my husband was like this at first, but at least he tries on the weekends now. this is aftr many, many fights between us and many weeks of me telling him on a daily basis 'i hate u' and even going as far as calling him a 'bad father'. i think that really lit something up in his head and that's when he really started making an effort to do his part during weekends. it doesn't always work mind you, because he doesn't hear baby at night, such a heavy sleeper, but he will try.
he's always taken care of her eraly morning feedings during the weekends so i can catch up though.
seriously, not adding fuel to the fire, but i would not stand for it, and so shouldn't you.

Seriously though, I am sorry for what you are going through.
We all go through our crap and hopefully you guys can air it out and he will step up.
