DH needs rice with every meal. I am so riced out. other then that I make new things, but even if I make pasta, he still looks for the rice.

OMG this is sooo me! I tried to be adventurous but I am the picky eater who wont try much. This is what I basically make...
Chicken cutlets
Chicken roll ups
Bbq chicken
Lemon chicken
chicken with pasta (lemon pepper)
Steak
Spaghetti and meatballs
pork chops
Roast beef in the real cold weather
Chicken soup
I can make nothing else and its really annoying. I need to be less picky and find some new recipes. Side dishes kill me the most. Im always making either mashed potatoes, rice a roni and corn. Its the only side dish I ever make!!!!!!! ugh!

That's the way it was in my parents house growing up. We had rice with everything - It either had red beans, black beans, peas, or plain ol white. Gotta love being from the Caribbean.

I HATE this feeling!!! It really stinks...and when you're coming home at almost 6pm...who wants to take an hr to cook!!!
I love allrecipes.com and my slow cooker cook book.
What if we did a chain letter recipe swap type thing on a monthly basis.....we could theme it too....chicken one month, steak another, Mexican, quick & easy (we could do this EVERY month!)
Tonight I did tortellini with veggies in a pesto sauce. nice and cheap!

I constantly feel that way. No matter how many different ways I prepare something, the main ingredients are usually repeated over and over and over and over and over......
