So I have been suffering with stomach issues (Chrones Disease)...
for a while and finally went to the doctor today. He wants me to get tested for Chrones Disease next week. He says its urgent because I have the most common symptoms so it looks very probable.
I can't believe it...I have always felt so invinsible...and now I have this serious health issue to deal with on my own.

You might not have it
I have also been suffering with stomach issues for years and my dad has colitis, so I have to keep getting checked for that, but for now they say I have IBS.
This Website really helped me alot with improving my diet and it makes me feel a lot better! Try it! The diet is similar for IBS, Chrohns, & Colitis.

I also have had stomach issues for 20 years and have been told I have everything from a nervous stomach, an ulcer, to IBS. Turns out, that I am allergic to gluten!!! And my acupuncturist figured it out!! Who would have ever thought?

I have been diagnosed with IBS...so managing that....and now he comes back with this.

I know it is hard, but try not to let yourself get too worried until you find out for sure what the problem is.

You quoted yorself, but I'm going to assume you meant to quote me...lol.
Yes, wheat, flour, rye, barley, etc. I had no idea that I had this. I noticed when I was on Atkins, I was feeling really great, not sick all the time, and that's when my acu told me to get tested for gluten allergies, and she was right!
I still eat bread (cause who can stop  ), but I try to limit it, and I do notice when I eat too much I am sick the next day.

If it helps at all my stepmother has had it for almost 15 years and she is healthy and doing well. She just has medication and monitors her diet.

I have Crohn's, I was diagnosed in 1999. I know how you feel, it's very scary, especially when you hear the word disease. Don't make yourself crazy. Get whatever tests you need done and then take it one day at a time if it turns out that's what it is. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to discuss the situation with someone who is living with it. I always find it helpful to know I'm not alone. Good luck with everything.

Very true...
I hope and pray everything will come out fine. My Mom had Ulcerative Colitis, so I'm familiar with the two. My Mom followed CCFA throughout her illness and received so much support from them.
