I did lose the baby- they don't know when, all they know is it stopped developing after six weeks. I am ok- very numb but have amazing support from my family and friends. I am worried about my DH- he is in Utah and so upset, I just wish we could comfort each other right now. The worst part is the treatment from my doctor- frankly I am still so angry I have yet to even start to grieve. They gave me the sonogram by a tech and I was told it was still at six weeks with no heartbeat so of course I figured it out for myself. I was then told to wait for the doctor to discuss options. I waited for over AN HOUR in a waiting room filled with pregnant women ohhing over their sonogram pics and getting all excited with their husbands while I sat there trying not to lose it. I then finally saw the doctor who simply said, well the baby isn't going to make it as you can see so what do you want to do? You have two options at our office- waiting for it to happen or a D&C. She was so cold it was disgusting. They couldn't even schedule the D&C I requested and said they would call and that they may not be able to do it Friday- even though that is when my husband returns and I just want this over with now. So sorry for this long update and rant- I am just so angry and outraged- you would think that they could handle a loss like mine with grace and caring. But I guess not.
I am just so grateful for the support and love of my family and friends. Plus the support of all of you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll keep you and DH in my prayers, how hard to be apart at a time like this.
I also hope that your doctor is more compassionate the next time you see/speak to them.

Actually this site has been such a wonderful distraction tonight. Shorty- I love your post on LIW- it made me laugh when I sorely need it. I know I am waiting for my husband to come home to break down so having this board to keep me company has been so wonderful. I really don't know what I would do without you guys The love and support I feel is making this a million times better.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, and also for the cold way you were treated. I suggest when this ordeal is over to find a new Dr. It was heartless the way you were treated.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your DH. I also very sorry for what you went through at the doctor's office. They should have more empathy for what you were going through.
