I agree that the reporters are familiar with the president and maybe when he is pardoning the turkey at thanksgiving he can make jokes with the press corp but this is a serious issue and I dont give a crap about what suit this particular reporter is wearing or how well he looks.
By saying bush is an idiot doesnt condone what clinton did in the oval office.
The whole role of president has been shamed by them both.

I really dont think getting a little sucky sucky is that horrible let his wife take care of it people do it all the time at their jobs.... BUT a president who says Nucular and can not speak properly makes us look pretty dumb!
As an intern at the time of the Lewinski scandal, I can tell you it was a horrible and disrespectful thing to me and my fellow interns. I was embarassed to even say I went down to Washington (no pun intended).
I'd take someone who can not speak well over someone who disrespects the oval office, that's my opinion. I think having a president who does that and lies about it makes us look dumb too!

Look at many of our past Presidents, a lot of them have done things during there presidency that weren't "outstanding" yet today we look at them as heroes....namely JFK. As for "nuclear". Go to www.m-w.com. Guess what, he does pronounce it correctly. There are numerous pronunciations of the word. Maybe he isn't the best President, but I think gone are the days when we will ever have a President that is worthy of everyone's vote.

yeah... i was kinda confused by that too.

I don't care what Clinton did, who he did it with, how many times he did it, or where he did it. We were far better off before this moron took office and put us in the cr*pper. I would not make fun of any one who stuttered, who was blind or crippled, but, Bush is just plain stupid and arrogant. Talk about the "ugly American". He, certainly, epitomizes that!

like i said this could go on and on - the OP was saying how much of a joke the president was bc he cant pronounce "nuclear", yet Clinton was getting his jollies in the oval office. not about how bad one pres is vs. the other. imo they both stunk!

actually... the BJ story covered the front pages, and drew the attention away from Clinton's role overseas at the time.. so yeah, maybe this one WAS actually a Killer BJ 
and i think (speaking for myself, anyway)... People were more outraged at a PRESIDENT LYING UNDER OATH... than getting head

I completely agree. JFK was not that great of a president, imo. I could care less how someone pronounces a word either.

I think it's ridiculous to compare someone who lies about an affair and someone lies to go to war.
Newsflash - you're supposed to lie about a secret affair. That's why THEY ARE SECRET. It may be violating his marriage contract, but it's not getting anyone killed. Many presidents have had affairs - including the speculation on Bush's close personal friend.
