YEAY!!  You rock for starting this!!
I'm also +size and TTC. Just had my annual and am healthy, thank God.
Was so freaked out about being a balloon when PG but as my sister said, I'll walk and eat sensibly and look stunning post baby!

Well, I started this thread...so I guess I should fess up.
My husband and I are expecting our first child this coming Valentines Day (Feb 14, 2007). We're very excited.
I'm feeling great...just tired. And from the two sono pictures we've had, the baby is doing great too.
Good luck to all of you trying...it's an amazing experience when it happens!

omg.... a happy and healthy nine months to you.
Keep us posted on how you're feeling and what the dr. says about weight gain...I'm curious about what different dr's are telling us.

Hi Ladies - this post was a Godsend to me today!!! Thanks for bumping!
I am plus size and new to this board but have been TTC for over a year. In March, I started with an RE who had be start Clomid and timed intercouse - last month i moved to IUI - unsuccessful. When I went in today to start another cycle, they told me that they could no longer treat me until i lost 40 lbs!!!
I am beside myself today - I do not have PCOS, ovulate monthly, AF comes like clockwork, no high blood pressure, no diabites, nothing! they treat me fro 6 months and tell me they can't anymore because i need to lose 40 lbs.
Where were they 4 months ago when they happily took all my money!!!!!
I know I have weight to lose but is it that plus size ladies don't have babies - please!!!
You ladies are inspiring and i am so grateful i found this post!

Well isn't that a load of bull****!
I started this thread and will tell you that I am VERY overweight and had a normal healthy pregnancy and delivered a beautiful baby girl in February.
I personally did not have any trouble getting pregnant, but I have a close friend who has been trying so I know how hard it is physically and emotionally. Hang in there and I hope it all works out for you.
I do think it is important to find doctor's who are open minded and sensitive to plus size issues.
