Re: 5 month old babies
DD is 5 1/2 months old. She is still for the most part EBF except at night I give her a bottle of formula before bed. 2 weeks ago, she slept through the night like 5 nights in a row. I'm talking 8 pm-6 am. It was glorious! Now she gets up after 6-7 hours of straight sleeping. She loves her cereal and fruit. She rolls all over the place and sits up pretty well although she can't get into a sitting position on her own. How is your dc doing?

Re: 5 month old babies
DS is 4.5 months. He takes 5 bottles a day at 7oz each and he gets 2 feedings of cereal, 1 with his 10am-ish feeding and the other with his bedtime feeding. WE are going to the Dr tomorrow for his 4 month shots so we will see where she suggests we go from here with the feeding.
Sleeping, DS goes to bed at 9pm and wakes up between 6:30 and 7:30 am but he plays in his crib for half hour before I get him (some times he will fall back asleep) Napping isnt as predictable he takes 2 naps a day his AM nap is up to 1 hour and his afternoon nap is anywhere from 40 minutes to 3 hours!
He can roll over but doesnt seem to want to too much. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth, has great hand control now. And you can't shut him up, he talks all day long!

Re: 5 month old babies
DD is 5 1/2 months old. She pretty much sleeps through the night consistently although ocassionally she will get up for a bottle at 4 am
She has 7 oz of milk around 6-7 am then at 8:00 she has 2 tbsp of cereal or oatmeal and a fruit. The rest of the day she drinks bottles (around 5 oz every 3 hours) then around 6:30-7 I give her a jar of fruit and a jar of dinner. After that she usually has one more bottle before she goes to bed around 10.

Re: 5 month old babies
DD is almost 4 1/2 months old. She sleeps through the night (approx 8pm - 5:30am). She usually takes 3 naps/day - although the exact times and lengths are not set in stone. Generally, a morning nap, a mid afternoon nap and a late afternoon nap.
She takes 5 bottles of formula/day - anywhere from 28 - 32 oz in total, depending on the day. We are going to start her on solids next month.
She hasn't rolled over yet, but she is on the verge of doing it. She has been using her hands a ton; sucks her thumb, tries to hold her bottle, etc. She giggles and squeals alot as of late!

Re: 5 month old babies
DS will be 5 months next week. He generally sleeps through the night, though he can be a restless sleeper. Usually he gets himself back to sleep, but last night he did not, so I was up with him a lot. But when he sleeps normally, he goes to bed around 9 or 9:30 and gets up around 8. There usually isn't much of a morning nap, sometimes there is none, sometimes he'll nap for 30 minutes.
In the afternoon he'll usually have a couple naps, one about 30 minutes early in the afternoon, another about an hour late afternoon, around 5 or so.
As for food, he has 5 bottles that are 6 ounces a day, and lately in the evening he has been wanting another bottle, about 4 ounces. We haven't started him on solids yet, that comes next month.
