very nice job! how hard was the wallpaper removal?

Utter nightmare.

We bought Dif and pulled off the top layer no problem.

The bottom layer is what stinks (the glue layer)

We Dif'ed that and scraped the ever loving crud out of the wall and were getting off teeny pieces. So we soaked down the wall with a sponge and that started to really work well. We were able to scrape bigger sections off at one time.

I could NEVER do an entire bedroom, LR or kitchen if it was papered though.
The Bathroom is small and it took 4 hrs. I couldnt imagine a normal sized room.

Tough work!

Ugh I feel you on this! We're going through the same thing with our bathroom right now! I hope ours comes out as nice as yours! Nice job! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Nice job!! I never thought to paint a bathroom cabinet. Did you have to sand it down first? I hate that all the cabinets in every bathroom in my house are exactly the same.

No sanding! I would've primed it if it was a darker color, but it took really well to just one coat of paint.

THANKS EVERYONE!
