Update on me *updated* Thank you
First of all, thank you to everyone for all the gender dust, etc.. and all the support endless support.
I don't want to go into detail, but as it turns out, there was a complication that effects about 1 in every 15,000 pregnancies and I happen to fall in that category. There's a strong possibility I'm going to lose the baby (although I am in no physical danger). I just have no words for this.
My DH and I have been grieving and crying all afternoon. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through.. between the ups and downs of fertility treatments.. to making it to my 16th week of pregnancy and finding out that I am probably losing the baby  This doesn't even feel real. It's almost like I'm posting this for someone else.
Needless to say.. I'll try to muster up the energy to pop on for updates.. but I don't know how much I'll be around the board I experienced emotions today that no living thing should be capable of experiencing. I feel so numb.

We went for a second opinion today. The news is worse than we thought. The only ounce of strength we had was wrapped around the belief that it just couldn't get any worse.. in any case.. I am just at a complete loss for words. I experienced such emotional he!! that I don't even feel human right now.
There's just so much on my mind- too much to comprehend. First there's the grieving that I'm losing my baby, which, was a boy. My son .. and then there's everything that comes after- going back out in the real world and telling my story over since everyone and their mother knows I'm pregnant - and I'll have to explain it's just not so anymore but before that can happen there's the procedure to get the baby out of my body. I have never been so scared for anything in my life.
Words can't say what it was like yesterday for me and my DH. First we got the news we were having a son and my DH looked the proudest I had seen him since our wedding day. He wanted a son so badly. It wasn't long after that we got this news out of left field that all our hopes for our boy were shattered.........
I am so sick over this. So very sick. If anyone has any experience with a D&E please FM me

Thank you so much everyone  And also thank you to those who sent such heartfelt FMs! I will be responding to all of them soon .. just been really overwhelmed these past few days.
I just want to say how grateful I am for the endless support on this board. From TTC.. to my fertility treatments... to my pregnancy.. and now the loss of my son, words can't express what it means to know there are women out there who are my personal cheer leaders, prayer squad, you name it. It just touches my heart.
For a brief update.. the initial shock has passed but I still have moments where I am just utterly stunned and can't believe it's ME in this situation. Sometimes when I think about all that is going on, I have to remind myself it's not some drama tv series.. and remind myself that I am the one with the thread on here getting all the prayers and hugs.. because I am the one who lost a son. I just never thought this could happen.
On a more positive note, I am looking forward to being back here as soon as I'm ready (both physically and emotionally) and I am wishing everybody the best of luck and HEALTH on your pregnancies!! Never take anything for granted. You are all such wonderful women and I'll be checking back on here for updates as often as I can.

OMG my heart just sank reading this... I am SO sorry that you are going through this. I hope your LO pulls through and beats the odds and proves the doctors wrong. If you need ANYTHING we are all here for you. Even though I don't know you IRL, my heart is aching for you and your DH right now. Please keep us updated.
