Doing a small bathroom update and need help
So we cant remodel the upstairs bathroom just yet so we want to do a small update. The bathroom has tile on the bottom and wallpaper on the top half of the wall and CEILING  We took down the wall paper. The bottom half of the walls are tiled grey...
Picture
The toilet and floor are grey the sink is white, the tub is pink but that will just be covered with a shower curtain. We will get new white cabinets for the other side of the wall, new light fixtures, and possibly new medicine cabinet.
My question is what color to paint the walls. We were thinking something in the grey or blue family...
what do you think?

Uou can go with white walls and add pink accessories but not in your face pink. Or you can go really bold and go with pink walls but I am not a lover of pink in large doses but you might be?

I think a yellow would look nice (either very pale yellow or a dark one like the pic below):
I also think a pale gray would look nice.
Or you can reglaze them, I heard it's not too bad of a DIY project.
My friend actually painted their pink tiles white with something someone recommended at Home Depot.

You can reglaze your tub yourself with something from HD or Lowes. We have the stuff at home just haven't had the time to do it. We too have pink and gray. We changed out the sink and toilet so the only pink things left are the tub and trim of the tiles (the majority of our tiles are gray). I painted the bathroom above the tiles white which go with the toilet and sink. Our shower curtain, towels and bathmat are green. I think the colors go well together.

I would love to do that its gorgeous!!but DH does want to he said the walls are all messed up and it wont look good (though I know he just tired of all tese projects and stripes will take him longer  ) Maye when we redo this one in a few years

Haha. It's pretty simple to do just have to use the tape. No harder than painting the wall. The yellow would look great too !

thanks!! I think we will jsut leave te tub for now since it is hidden by te curtain. I thought white too for the wall but I think they are less forgiving of flaws. I never thought of green hmm

I can't see how big your bathroom is in the pics bc they won't load for me. Our bathroom is small so the white doesn't look bad at all and it matches everything. I had an issue picking a color because of the pink and gray and decided white was neutral enough and matched the new toilet and sink we put in. With our shower curtain the pink is minimal so I don't hate our bathroom as much

If it is a small space, I'd go with a gray slightly lighter than the walls. too much contrast will make it look small & choppy.
I'd probably get a white or mostly white shower curtain.

Love the yellow recommened above.
Not sure I care for the stripes with the tiles. It would look like 2 patterns to me. If that makes any sense?

thanks melody! i love this curtain and you totally inspired me. I found a really cute shower curtain along the lines of this one with some green in it on overstock!
We decided to paint the wall gray, but a different shade than the tiles.
