6 Day Hospital Stay- Preterm Labor
So I posted last week that I started having pre term labor contractions, they put me on Procardia for the contractions and gave me a shot of Terbutaline. On Friday, the contractions were getting worse and the Dr admitted me to Good Sam for preterm labor. They hooked me up to Magnesium Sulfate (which is probably the most horrible medication I have ever taken) for 48 hours and then put me on a T Pump of Terbutaline. My ins wouldn't cover me to go home with the T Pump, so they switched me to the pill form of Terbutaline and finally sent me home today. They were able to stop all contractions by Sunday, but still monitored me. It was very scary and they don't have a reason for why it happened. Now I am on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy being strictly watched and do not even know how I am going to survive!!!

hang in there i had the same exact thing at 24.5 weeks...i had the pump up till 35 weeks then pills till 37.... and good ol' maggie is AWFUL!!!!!!!!
