Back from a 3 day stay at the hospital!
Just got home.
DH and I went to the hospital Friday for some "standard testing". A NST (non stress test) and Biophysical. Both came back fantastic. They decided to do a blood pressure check on me since it had been fluctuating so much the past week.
Needless to say it was too high for them to feel comfortable in sending me home. They told me they were going to admit me for 24 hour observation.
They made me give a urine sample and some bloodwork. My platelet count was down to 160 (at my first prenatal check up it was 300) and I hard uric acid in my urine.
They made me do another 24 hour urine sample starting Friday night. Which meant it wouldn't finish till Saturday night so now my earliest release would be Sunday.
Well, my urine came back fine. But, my platelet count was down to 140. So, they made me stay another night to do another round of bloodwork. This morning it came back at 190. Although that is still low, the number rose instead of decreased and they discharged me.
My blood pressure is still high, but stable, so they aren't overly concerned.
Looks like we will be having Baby P. early. We are trying to get him to stay in until 37 weeks and then I will go for an induction.
At the moment I have been diagnosed with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and I am on the cusp of pre-eclempsia.
So nice to be home!! I missed all of you ladies!!

So glad that they were able to get things under control and you were able to come home!! Hope you can relax and enjoy the day!

WELCOME HOME JESS!!!  I'm sorry that you had go to the hospital, but i'm glad they were able to keep things under control for now.  that it stays under control for the next 3 weeks or more!
Be sure to take it easy!

Glad everything is OK. I have a question though. Was your BPO high from your first trimester? My BP the last two times I went and 6.5 wks and 9 weeks was 132/80 which is a bit high. I am nervous that this will turn into hypertension or pre e. I have never had high BP before I got PG

I didn't have high BP until last week (33 weeks).
However, at 27 weeks I started to experience severe swelling which IMO is probably the cause of the high BP.
