6 month ped appointment today....question about Vitamins?
So we took DD to her 6 month appointment today. All is good.
Ped said to start her on Vitamins and gave Rx.
Anyone else start vitamins? I guess I wasn't expecting him to perscribe them.

I go today also for my DS' appointment and Im pretty sure they with prescribe them. If i remember correctly my DD was put on vitamins at her 6 month visit. I think because now they will be drinking less formula and less formula means less vitamins.

yes, last month at DD's 6 month visit we got a prescription for vitamins.

DS was prescribed vitamins at his 6 month appointment this week too. I just picked them up today.

i bf and he's been getting them since he was only a week old. dr. told me to use tri=vi=sol over the counter liquid. i did the same for my older ds.

I didn't get vitamins until my DD 12 months visit. He prescribed them since she was transitioning off of formula to milk. He said prior to that she was getting enough of what she needed from the formula. I guess every ped. is different.
