6 year old front teeth growing in crooked
Will they straighten out or become a problem? Is it normal for the two front upper teeth to grow out crooked at first??

Re: 6 year old front teeth growing in crooked
My daughter's were crooked and are improving. I do expect her to need braces, just with mine and DH's history, so I don't put much stock in it. But both my sisters had crooked front teeth at first and they did straighten out and they never needed braces...both have beautiful straight teeth.

DS is 7 and his two bottom teeth started growing in crooked but have straightened out a little. The dentist said that even though his teeth are still a little crooked now, it's too early to say whether or not he will need braces.

Re: 6 year old front teeth growing in crooked
I would encourage your DC not to push their tongue against their teeth and remind them about it when you see them doing it. The other thing to note is when your DC has a loose tooth, did the adult teeth come in before she lost the baby tooth? If the adult teeth come in and the baby tooth is still in the mouth you may need to take your DC to the dentist to have the baby tooth pulled.
