2nd birthday party themes
I need some ideas for a 2nd birthday party theme in March. DD is obsessed with Barney lately, but I DEFINITELY don't want to go that route  She will have a small party with friends at a gym.

My DD turned 2 in October and we did an Owl theme since she loves them. We only had a home party with our huge family, but the cups, plates and napkins that I got were adorable, and I got an owl cake and an owl shirt for her to wear! so adorable!  The supplies were actually "Look Whoo's Turning 1" but I just bought the items that didn't have 1 on them.

we did a cupcake theme for Chloe's 1st birthday. I looooove the owl theme that was just posted. theres also the mod monkey if you want to stay away from characters. Olivia could be a cute theme if she likes her with the colors red, black and white. we are doing sesame street/elmo for Chloe - just because she is OBSESSED!

Alexa had a diva princess theme (it suits her personality  )
Pink, black and white zebra'ish motif....
March, you could do a ladybug picnic, rainbow theme, Candyland.....

I kept it pretty simple and worked with the two shades of green and red. I used balloons to make more caterpillars around the house and used solid colored streamers, balloons, and paper goods. A friend had a similar party for her DD at a hall and used different Eric Carle books as weights for balloons at each table. She had a caterpillar cake and sunflower cupcakes with ladybugs on them (ala The Grouchy Ladybug). I made my own invitations (and hers, too). Let me know if you want to see them.

Sorry to crash, but, I JUST saw this theme in Target tonight! Adorable!!!!
My DD will be 2 in May! I am planning on doing a Ladybug theme
