Organics Delivered

Was so looking forward to my second delivery and I get an email saying they have suspended delivery and hoping to be back on track in two weeks. Seriously. I loved the box i got but at this rate I am so not going to schedule a regular delivery.

I had scheduled delivery for tomorrow for my second box and I will expect to get my email then too. If I had to guess, they did not anticipate such a turnout and are unable to meet the demand. Their website doesn't let you order online anymore either (I wanted to check what was in this week's box). I bought the groupon from the other organic company but was going to hold off redeeming it because i didnt want two boxes coming at the same time so this whole thing with Organics is really messing up my "mojo!"

Oh no! That stinks! I didn't get an email from them about this. I'm scheduled for a delivery for tomorrow!


Weird question- was it a guy who delivered your box? We had a guy- who apparently is the owner of the LI route for Organics Delivered (I think its franchised out.) He was asking us if we bought it only because we got a good deal on it. He said he spent alot of money buying into Organics Delivered, but it seemed a little shady to him at first- like they were "screwing him" (his words, not mine) I felt kind of bad for him! I wonder if this has something to do with it!

I tried redeeming my groupon last week. I did the form on the website and never heard anything from them- no email, phone call, nothing.
So I waited a few days and did the form again on the website thinking it may not have gone through and once again, nothing.
I tried calling several times and it's gone to voice mail every time. Today I tried calling and it said all voice mailboxes were full.

I finally called groupon today and they said they were going to contact the company for me. I have heard nothing back since.

ugh of courseeee i didnt redeem mine either...im so aggravated..i knew something like this would happen since i never tried it before lol
SO now what?? we just lose the money or will Groupon give us a refund?

This is just poor management now.

You should get out what was promised via groupon AND THEN decide to become a co-op.

In order to increase our efficiency, reduce operating costs and provide ongoing benefits to our customers, we are currently restructuring the company across North America. To facilitate this re-organization, we are pushing back all deliveries for 2 weeks, effective immediately, in all of our locations. Our intention is to resume with greater efficiency and a higher level of customer service.

I got my first delivery last week and was extremely happy with it...we'll see what happens with the second as it's not scheduled until March 17th.
I'm actually thinking about signing up permanently - the food was/is amazing.

I got NO email and was expecting my second delivery tonight! We didn't go to the grocery store b/c we wanted to see what we were getting first. I am so pizzed!

Has anyone had an update on them? I never received an email putting me on hold and have a delivery "scheduled" for Thursday. I called Groupon and the representative had in his notes that they were supposed to have an update by today, but it hadn't arrived yet. He did say he heard that there was talk of bankruptcy. I decided to wait one more day in hopes of hearing something, but Groupon was more than happy to issue a refund for me.

I e-mailed Groupon explaining how I couldn't sign up for a delivery online, how I'd have to wait two weeks for them to restructure their delivery, etc. They were nice enough to give me a refund, without asking any additional questions. Their customer service is fantastic!

I'm going to try my groupon for Urban Organics. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick to my CSA, Golden Earthworm. I know exactly where the food is grown (and it's local- not being flown in from California), and it's so easy to e-mail with the farmers directly instead of going through a middleman.

I sent an email to groupon and they credited me for the whole thing even though I had already received one box. i have no expectation that I will receive the other box.

We have been working diligently in pursuit of alternative solutions including financing but have been unable to crystallize any of these efforts at this time.

Many of you have been with us for well over a year and we have developed bonds beyond mere customer/company status. All our staff want to thank you for your kind words, encouragement and the genuine joy we've had in bringing organic food to your families.

Communications: Email is the only method of exchange now available. Our voice and email boxes have been full and we are doing our best effort to respond to your inquiries, as the office is now closed.

Refunds: For those of you who have boxes remaining undelivered in your subscription, we must guide you to request your refunds via your method of payment, either from Paypal or directly from your credit card service provider. We have a small reserve fund in place withPaypal to account for refunds, and credit card purchases may carry a degree of purchase insurance. Please check with your credit card company.

In my heart, I can only hope that you will continue to look to certified organic suppliers for your food needs. The organic food industry has bold and true values to promote the health of ourselves and our planet. Our suppliers, local staff and delivery companies have always had the primary focus to deliver the promise of organics to you. I got an email from Groupon last week asking me if I wanted a refund or wait for them. I opted for the refund!
