American Idol 3/1/11 - The Guys & 3/2/11 - The Girls
I miss the days when we used to have tons of chat during Idol. Anyone watching?
So far, Clint was good, but I didn't think anything I hadn't seen before. Jovani didn't really impress me...it's nothing new. I agreed with Randy.
This is where I'm going to start missing Simon, b/c Steven and Jennifer are purely positive, with no real constructive criticism.

Guy #1 was ok
Guy #2 is gonna get the teenybopper votes and bc he looks like Jersey Shore
Guy #3 picked the wrong song - sounds like a bad cover band
Randy is going to be the new Simon apparently

I know! He had a great voice during Hollywood week. Very disappointing.

1st time watching this show all season and it's really a disappointment. Hosts and contestants so far, for me thumbs down. Sorry! I'm still watching though.

Jovany sounded good but nothing special- kind of boring.
Clint and especially Jordan were HORRIBLE in my opinion. Jordan's voice was so weak and inconsistent.

Ugh, I just sat through the interview with Jordan, lots of commercials, a montage about Tim, and after 10 minutes I get to hear some singing... and it's just  . This Tim guy is pretty terrible.

The sound is so off. The band is much louder than the singers. It sounds terrible

I have to say that overall, they all seemed to have a lot more talent and potential during Hollywood week.
I really want to see Paul, who got NO airtime until he did Blackbird on Beatles night. I liked that performance. I also liked the kid with the bass during Hollywood week, and Robbie Rosen. I hope they all do well.

he seems really cocky to me.. and they loved him

I liked Tim in Hollywood week...he is talented.
Brett can sing...but he may start to annoy me. So far the best of what we've seen.

And I like the rockers, so I'm enjoying it. I do think that the screeching is going to get overdone quickly though.
