did they mention if there is going to be a theme next week? I miss the themes. So excited for this 13 to sing though. It seems very strong.

I can't believe they didn't take kendra after her performance.... that's so strange to me!! They seemed to like it a lot more than Ashton's.
Me too.
When they announced the people I yelled "BLONDE GIRL GOT ROBBED" to the TV...lol.
Part of me wonders if they were worried about the diversity of the girls and that's how Ashton got in over her.

Yeah, I could see that being a possibility. They do like diversity on the show and kendra and haley are similar.

I thought Ashton was FANTASTIC with her performance last night so I'm glad she made it.
Naima doesn't do it for me. I wouldn't have put her through.
I know so many people are Robbie fans and I'm sure he's a sweet boy but  I'm so glad he didn't make it through. He bores me, and when he's not boring me I find his performances a little.. I don't know... when I listen to him I want him to hurry up and finish because he doesn't wow me. So I'm glad he didn't make it.

I was so shocked they didn't pick Kendra last night. She sang the best out of ALL the wild card picks, imo. She was totally robbed. Ashton is good too though. Not sure about Naima. I thought she was pretty good the first night, but the wild card song wasn't that great. I think I kind of agree with previous posters about the diversity. Kendra can be considered similar to Haley, maybe.
I was happy with America's picks of the top 5 girls though...those were my picks too and I didn't vote. The girls are definitely WAY better than the guys...this is a girl's year to win!!!!!

I'm also not a fan. I'm sorry if this comes off mean but when I look at her I see dirtbag. Especially, when she lifts her arms and she hasn't shaved 
I liked Kendra over her. Naima has an old sound to her...she isn't fresh and young. She can sing, but she isn't marketable.
My top choices are Scotty, Lauren, Pia and Stefano.

I'm sad for Robbie. I think I wanted him as a person to make it more than he as a singer deserved to be there, if that makes any sense.
Frankly, I was surprised about Lauren not making it and not being given a second chance. Also that they didn't give Julie or Jordan a chance to redeem themselves for bad song choice. I'm not a huge Thia fan either.
Overall though, I think the right people got in.

I think Pia will be the next American Idol.
Scotty may be up there with her. Love him and the audience seemed to as well.
Durbin and Lauren will go far. I think Naima and Ashton will be the next 2 gone.
Pretty good top 10 though thats for sure. America DEFINITELY got it right!!!

I think i'm the only one who doesn't like Scotty!
his voice does nothing for me (probably because i don't like country) and i feel like he's very one dimensional
After they gave Stefano, Jovany and Robbie a chance to sing for the wild card.. i felt like Stefano and Jovany sang their hearts out, while Robbie just didn't have the same amount of emotion or energy as they did. I really thought they'd put Jovany through based on that performance.. but i'm glad at least Stefano went through
as for the girls.. i'm not a huge fan of any of them really. I like Thia because her voice is so pure, and i like Niama as an interesting person, but not really as a singer 
Pia has an amazing voice, but the others are just boring to me. I liked Lauren in the beginning but now she's just eh to me
but overall.. this crop of singers is way better than last years!
and i loved Steven's blouse!

You are not alone - I am not a fan of his either 
My fave was Robbie - I voted numerous times (something I hardly ever do for idol). I'm pretty disappointed he didn't make it 
I currently do not have a favorite. I prefer: Stefano, Jacob, Casey, James, Pia, Karen, Thia, and Lauren.
I don't care for any of the other contestants. I feel the judges made mistakes in not selecting Kendra, Robbie and Jovany.
We shall see what happens! I'll probably end up rooting and voting for the hometown girl - Pia!

I think Pia is going to win.
I was pretty happy with the girls, but I would prefer Lauren over either Ashton, nyima or Thia- not really a fan of them...
I agree about what a PP said about Karen doing a spanish album.
The guys I would rather Jovany than casey and I am reallly not a fan of Jacob. I think he's got a nice voice, but if he wins he'll be the next reubin. He's not the 'whole package' in my opinion. I'd like to see him do something a little more lively to see what he can do.
