I want Casey, Paul and Scotty to make it. Then for the last two spots, a toss-up between Jacob, Stefano and Robbie.
But I'm really rooting for casey, paul and scotty. everyone else could go in my opinion.

I am so pizzed that they are knocking out half the competition in week on!!!  They have never done that! Why are they rushing this season! Poor kids - to make it this far and let us only see them sing 1 song live...I don;t know why they are doing that!

Yes, I think eliminating 7 at once is a lot!! But since, I only really liked 5 guys, as long as the right ones stay it will be OK.
However, we have so many talented girls this season... I can't see only keeping 5 right now... I mean I'd want to see those 7 who are going to be eliminated perform at least once or twice more before they go...

I love this reality show and currently watching it's season 10 latest episodes. Recently watched episode 13. It was awesome. I like Paul and Casey songs and their performance. Jacob has also done great job. But now i am excited for today released episode 14 and finale 15.

I have an early favorite and I promise it wont change!
Scotty!!! He is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I dont even care for country music and he is just so great. Even if he doesn't win Idol..even if he gets kicked off Thursday..he WILL get a record deal and go far. He is just WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVED Casey and really liked Paul, Scotty and Jacob too.
I think Brett was really interesting - he's got a completely different vibe when he's singing... and when he's not singing, I don't want to look at him. 
I like Robbie but he didn't do anything for me last night. I really didn't like that arrangement at all. No one else made much of an impression at all.
I'm happy they're cutting 7 - I don't want to have to listen to some of these people any longer than necessary.

This is not true but also the 7 cut is not true. If you go on the official american idol site, a video trailer with ryan seacrest talking says 24 will become 12. which means 6 of the boys and 6 of the girls will be going home. Now from what I heard the judges will be keeping 1-3 (not sure if it is one total or one per judge) to make it a total of 13-15 finalists. Which makes it at least 4 or 5 guys and 4 or 5 girls who will be getting cut this thursday.

I liked James, Paul, Scotty, Casey and Jacob. IMO, some of the guys who were cut were better than several of last night's performers.

Breaking: American Idol Wild Card Show next week
Joe’s Place Blog just tweeted that there will be a Wild Card show for the 14 contestants who do not get voted into the Top 12 this week.
The judges will choose 2 Wild Card spots.
"the 14 Idol Contestants that are not voted into the top 10, will all come back & perform a week from 2nite 4 a shot at TWO Wild Card Spots"
so I guess the original 7 WAS RIGHT! and then they will bring 2 back for a total of 14 finalists.
