8 month old suddenly crying as soon as she is in crib! helppppp

the past couple days as soon as i put her in her crib for either a nap or bedtime she starts screaming, sometimes to the point where she is gasping for air bc she is so upset!

the last 2 nites she wakes up around 12am and i just let her sleep in my arms on the couch (my back cant take this anymore!)

she is also crying anytime i try to hand her to someone else, even her grandparents.

i feel like i made her too dependent on me. i am a sahm and spend every minute with her. what can i do?? any tips??

i thought it was teething, but this seems a little too extreme!

I feel your pain. My DD is also 8 months and does the exact same things you described. Last night was the worst so far...she just kept crying and crying. For my DD though, I know it is teething so we gave her Tylenol and she finally fell asleep at like 4:00 a.m. I just keep telling myself it is just a phase she is going through and it will pass!
