8 month olds...should she have more than formula and baby food?

Im wondering if DD should be having more than just formula and baby food.

She has a thing of YoBaby Yogurt in the morning, a 5 oz bottle around 10am, noon-1pm she has a stage 3 jar of fruit, a 5 oz bottle at 2 and 4:30, 6:30 she has a stage 3 jar of veggies and then bed

Does this sound like sge is getting enough, should i be adding in something other than formula and baby food?

my DD is still getting about 26oz a day with 3 meals.

8oz when she wakes up

yogurt/stage 2 fruit & cheerios at 9am

4oz at 10

2 stage 2, cheerios at 12pm

6oz at 3pm

whatever we eat for dinner or 2 stage 2 at 5pm

8oz at 7pm (bedtime)

she eats cheerios at every meal

My DS is almost 8 months and has only had baby food and breastmilk so far.

It sounds like she's getting enough. Really for the first year, their main source of nutrition is still breastmilk/formula. They rest is just for practicing eating and getting used to tastes and textures.

Unless I misread your post, it doesn't look like she is getting enough formula. Is she only getting 10oz a day?

At that age, they should still be getting between 16 and 24oz, and most peds recommend the 24oz of formula.

Is she doing 15 oz. of formula? That doesn't seem like enough. I give my DS more table food, but the majority is formula and jarred/yogurt.

I agree. I would try and fit another bottle in there. Maybe with her yogurt?
