8 months old, prefers sippy cup to the bottle - Anyone experience this?
DD does awesome with her sippy cup and has since day one...
Lately ( past few days)she is not digging the bottle too much....We are first going to switch her to a faster flow (up until now, she was fine w/ the slow flow), I'm getting new nipples tommorrow....But she loves the sippy and will down water in it, so I'm wonderiing if this is her method of choice...She's also teething so I'm sure thats contributing to it also, though when she is sleepy she seems okay with the bottle...Not sure if she is just associating bottle=nap and thats her refusal ( she still doesn't self soothe w/ out a bottle and doesn't take a paci)
If she still prefers the sippy after we try the new nipples, theres no down fall to drinking formula from her sippy instead right ? This seems like a dumb question, but she still seems so young to refuse the bottle , she's growing up way too fast !!!

My DD would have given up her bottle the moment she started teething, and in fact, around 9 or 10 months, she really stopped using it. We stopped giving it to her. She only got it again because my mom forced it on her behind my bacl But unlike a small baby that needs to suck, I think older babies can do fine without a bottle and only a sippy.
