8 weeks post partum and going to dh's office party...help
dh's office party is coming soon. I try to look stellar at these events, and though I am a few pounds plumper than last year, I want to continue the trend. especially since I am carrying baby weight, I feel like I need to try a little harder.
I recently bought a black wrap dress that I can wear but I want to jazz it up a bit and that's where you all come in.
help me. how can I make it fun and festive and a little nicer than just your classic black wrap.
I am open to shoes, and accessories (I have basically NO accessories so any suggestions are appreciated). I also don't want to spend a lot. so think cheap and chic. (the idea, not the brand  )
pretend i am one of those plastic dolls that you bake and dress me up!

Kohls may have some cute costume type jewlery or even try NY and Co. I got a fun necklace and earing there.
Do something fun with your hair too.

I recently bought this necklace and received 3 compliments on it the night I wore it. I think it will look great with the wrap dress and really dress it up.
If you want to see it on, I have a picture of it. I paired it with a black sequin top, a black off centered ruffle cardigan and dark jeans.

on the dress, where it wraps.

I also have a chunky costume jewerly necklace with red and black in it...I think I got it at Express

the party is at a restaurant in midtown..nice, but not too crazy.
I definitely need to get a nice colorful shoe...NONE of my sezzy shoes are closed toe though, and I NEED closed toe in this weather.
I like the brooch and brooch necklace idea....
checking NY& co out now!
ETA: you KNOW I am an 8/8.5...which is why I can't squeeze my feets into your shoes
