I’m so happy I read this thread and didn’t waste my time. I actually thought it was a reboot too. Who kid really care about them being themselves but not really being themselves. They tried something like that with Lisa Kudrow and it sucked
THIS exactly - either act out the characters, or be real. I don't want you to pretend to be real. WTF is the point of that?

I finally watched it (had it on my DVR queue). I don't think it was as bad as some people were saying, but I do think they should have just done a real reboot instead of a show of them doing a show.
