99/100 Degree temp for a week?
DS got shots last Sat. I typically take his temp after until it goes back to normal since he typically runs a temp.
Since getting the shots, every night his temp has been in the 99 or l00 range. Never above 100.3. But this has been for a week - I only have been taking it at night though.
Should I call the ped? Is this something I should be concerned about?
Thanks so much

99 is normal for a baby. a babies normal body temp is up to 99.7...much higher then ours, so thats not a fever at all.

So even 100.3 wouldn't be a fever?

My ped told me 100.6 or higher is a fever.
For a newborn under 12 weeks I was told.
After shots Noah has had ( as a newborn) up to 100.7 and they werent worried.
I wouldnt worry but call the Ped just to give yourself some peace of mind maybe.

Re: 99/100 Degree temp for a week?
Our ped said temp was above 100.4 but that was back at 2 months - she has never had a fever so I'm not great help there - but it also depends on how you are taking the temp - since underarm etc reads different than rectally etc.
If you are concerned it never hurts to put in a call -and just see what they say since a week seems long for a fever.
