A book about geeting a new baby brother for an 18 month old?

Is it too early to use this tactic?

Any recommendations?

DS doesn't understand at ALL. He says baby at my stomach but only bc we taught him that- not at all bc he gets it.

I don't have any experience with this but wanted to say congratulations! It sounds like you're off to a good start. The book idea sounds really good to me, it can't hurt to try to explain it to him. I would also make a point to point out babies to him whenever you see them and tell him he's going to be getting one soon (however you want to phrase it). Do you have any friends or family with small babies that you could bring around for him to get used to?
