A close co-worker of mine is eloping and I want to throw her a shower/luncheon..I need food ideas..
The shower will be co-ed since she is marrying a fellow teacher! Around 20 people or so. The party will be in a friends gorgeous apt. I need some ideas since I usually do this in a restaurant!

How about a hero or trays of pasta and chicken... Simple and inexpensive. Local delis will usually deliver and set up.

I would do something like a cold cut platter with salads and maybe a hot pasta dish.

what about getting a bunch of appetizers from costco....pigs in the blanket, mini quiche, etc...and then spinach dip and breadbowls, cheese and crackers, and a cake

I always order from The Garage Eatery... You can get wraps and gourmet salads. They also have fruit kebabs with yogurt dipping sauce - Really nice for dessert.
They have a website with menus and pricing - They deliver for 15 bucks - If I remember correctly.
