A Couple Mindless B-Day Party Questions...Re: Invites and Outfit

So...after a couple months of torturing myself on what to do for E's 2nd B-day, I booked one at Gymboree today.

Here are my mindless questions (things that keep me up at night!) Chat Icon

1. Since I am having the party there, is it ok or silly to send themed invites? I found some cute Sesame St. and Yo Gabba Gabba ones that I really like. Either way, I don't plan on using the ones they provide bc I love doing invites. I can do a theme or just a generic party one. I even found someone on Etsy who creates Gymboree invites that coordinate with some of their clothing lines!

2. Since the party is at Gymboree, I won't be buying her a fancy outfit to wear but what kind of outfit do I put her in that is still special, but practical? Any pics?

Thanks so much!

1. Def send out some invites with a theme. The room that they eat in can be decorated according to theme as well as the cake.
Or do a orange invite with the Gymboree circles all around, like their theme as well as "gymboree"font? An option :)

2. A bday tshirt with shorts/jeans/ leggings?
Maybe the ones with her name and the age on it?
Im sure Etsy.com has some on there....and girlie ones too.

I have a Gymboree Cupcake Birthday Girl 2T t-shirt if you want it!!

I thought about the tutu thing but really, so impractical. She just wore cute pants and was comfy and had fun!!

We used thier invites soo....Chat Icon
