A couple of things I learned that may be helpful for new moms to be

I just wanted to mention some things that I wish I knew before hand that might help some of you new mommies out.

I know this sounds silly, and maybe I'm just an idiot, but have some newborn sized clothes at home. I had a couple of white onesies and side snap tops but I had NO pants! I had no cute little outfits for him or anything. I was so I really didn't get much for my shower and what I did get was for like 0-3 or 3-6 and 0-3 is swimming on my 7 lb baby. My mom had to run out to buy him some things or else I was had nothing.

If you are not breastfeeding, buy ace wraps that are meant to wrap your thigh so you can bind yourself when your milk comes in. Let me tell you...it hurts like a sonofabitch not to mention the horror of seeing your girls turn into cantalopes. The ace wraps held me in tighter than the sports bra and things are starting to look up (or down I guess)

Get the boppy waterproof changing table pads. They are a 3 pack for $12.99. I never changed a diaper before this guy and my lack of experience has wreaked havoc on my nursery. The pads prevent me from having to wash the changing pad cover all the time. They are well worth it! I also have them in his cradle because sometimes mom does a really bad job of putting on the diaper and the pads prevent me from having to change his sheets in the middle of the night.

They have the same store-brand waterproof pads at BRU for only $7.99 for 3. My BTDT sister already bought me a few packs.

I understand the need for most people to have NB clothes, but I also think that you should not take off the tags. I could not use them for any of my kids and doubtful I will for this one either.
