before..
after..removed doorway and replaced sheetrock
gutting old homeowners kitchen
old foyer/kitchen
new hardwood floors in kitchen
new kitchen..cabinets will be in around February
new foyer
our first snow storm

looks terrific!! I'm looking forward to seeing more.  Great job.  That window is gorgeous and it's amazing how much a difference opening up a wall makes.

I love having the exposed stairs. I did the same thing during my reno. It really opens up the space, and makes everything look bigger.
It's looking awesome!
Gotta love the bare bulb chandeliers! I had the same ones at my place!

Thanks everyone!  We weren't a fan of the window when we first looked at the house. It was COVERED with overgrown trees and bushes. Now that we re-did the landscaping you can actually see outside, and I love the amount of light it gives off into the living room.
Will post more pictures next week. We are having the painters start after Christmas
