a lil crazy but with all these earthquakes, flooding, birds dying etc...
does it ever scare you that this is the beginning of the end of the world? I get nervous all the time, i am always watching those stupid end of the world shows. esp the one in 2012...
stuff like this freaks me the eff out, makes me not want to have dc 2.
please dont think i am insane or crazy, i promise im not!!
im just a worry wart...

I never really believed in that stuff but lately it really has started to scare me a lil bit.... Its really crazy lately with all this wierd stuff..The Sun having the solar flares the other day, earthquakes, hurricanes getting bigger and stronger..fish dying and birds dying is really scaring me..

Nothing going on lately is anywhere near as bad as it's been throughout history, and we're still here. We've survived the Black Plague, Krakatoa, Mt. Vesuvius, the Chernobyl explosion, etc, etc, etc.... what's going on today just SEEMS bad since we're living in it, but compared to history, it's really not much....

No. I'm not much of a worrier. I do have concerns about the nuclear power plant in Japan though but more for the Japanese, not myself.

No, it doesn't. 'stuff' like this has been going on since the beginning of time.
if there were no tv shows to fuel the paranoia and connect random dots like they do.. you'd have no idea about any of it, and still be just fine 
i'm pretty sure that the world is not coming to an end in 2012 - and if for some reason it does.. its not due to anyone's predictions!
natural disasters happen.. they have since the beginning of the earth. we're living on a molten rock that sometimes burps and shifts and does things that affect our tiny lives. Not a whole lot we can do about it so I try not to think too much about things that are out of my control.

I do believe we are in the "end times" though there's not much we can do about it. I believe the world won't end but it will be very different in due time. Live your life. This can happen tomorrow or 100 of years from now. It would stink if your worried your whole lifetime waiting for something that may or may not happen.
We may or may not get into a car accident and die, you don't stop driving because it's a possibility. Get your life straight and you will be fine.

It is scary, but THE LORD told us not to be afraid, when these things begin to come to pass; HE knows we get fearful, but HE can give us peace. I personally do believe it's the beginning. I am reminded of the story of Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednigo, from the Book of Daniel, in the Old Testament Scriptures. They were thrown into a fiery furnace, but were protected; Daniel was thrown into a lions' den, but he was protected. I believe when trouble comes, THE LORD will give you what you need to get through it. THE LORD does deliver "out of", but sometimes, we go "through" a troubling time, but HE WILL BE WITH US, if we trust HIM; This is my belief. Recently, while praying, about my fears and these troubling times, I felt THE LORD spoke to my heart, telling me HE'S never left me, and has always been faithful. Yes, no man knows the hour, that's true, but we have been given signs to look for in the Book of Matthew, New Testament Scriptures. THE LORD told us to "occupy until HE comes" Mary

I totally get what you mean, but weren't most of these one major event? In some ways that's different to me than hearing not-quite-so-major-but-still-pretty-horrifying events over and over and over again. One thing you can write off as a fluke. When it's happening everywhere, it just seems weirder to me. Not that I'm saying I think the world is about to end. But I do see this as possibly different.
