A little worried- Advice Please

I am having a dull constant pain on my left side of my upper stomach. It hurts. I think that I over did it. We were going to Costco and only I was allowed to carry my daughter for a long time and then a lot of bending and getting things. My DH lifted the heavy things but I was still moving a lot.

Do you think that pain is probably me over doing it? Could it be Braxton Hicks or something that warrants me calling my doc which I hate to do.

Advice please

i'm sorry, i don't know what that could be... try resting with your feet up and drink lots of water - could just be dehydration and overexertion.

I had something similar and it was so uncomfortable when I was pregnant with DD. When I went it they said it was round ligament pain. It's always better to call but it does sound like you probably overdid it or are just stretching. Chat Icon

I have had the same issue for the past couple of months....

It's DD's coolie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (at least for me it is)

She has wedged herself on the right side of my body, and hasn't left for the most part..... That's just her spot, and it hurts. I'm not going to lie. Every once in a blue she will move out of the right and go over to the left for 10 minutes, and it's a blessing....

That's a HUGE part of why I can't wait to deliver.... The alleviation of that rawness....

Oh I can't wait....

It could be either one. I would say try to take it easy the rest of the weekend, and if you are not feeling any better by Monday maybe call your doctor.

Thanks girls! I definitely just over did it.I feel better today but I definitely scared DH. I think that he now realizes that I am not a work horse and that I really do need to rest and that he will have to pick up the slack no matter what!!! I still have some pain but it's definitely better. It was not the baby itself because I was feeling the baby on the other side this side of my stomach was actually soft. Plus my groin pain, which I had with my daughter also, was AWFUL yesterday that always gets worse when I do too much.

Lisa, I totally know what you mean my daughter was head up butt on one side of my pelvis one leg stretched across into the other side of my pelvis and the other foot on the ligament of my vaj-vaj. She was pushing my pelvis out of alignment at the end of my pregnancy every time she stretch it was awful. She planted herself like that at 20 weeks and never moved. This one is heading in the same directionChat Icon

Thank you again girls. DH and DD are going to come on all my errands today with me. So that I don't do too much
