this is regarding 2 dogs that they recently pulled from NY shelter-they both came in together--Second chance could use donations--they are a fabulous rescue and they save a ton of dogs from the shelter. Even donating $2 can help!!!

"Pepe is still at the vets, he is in bad shape. He is coughing badly, possibly a blood parasite, has skin infection, and his 2 knees would need surgery. Pepa had her surgery yesterday, and it was not only ACL surgery, the surgeon also worked on her hips. These precious pair are both in bad shape. The pledges are not enough to cover their surgeries. Please if you can help us with both Pepe's and Pepa's surgery cost, Second Chance Rescue will appreciate it very much. Here is Pepe with MACC volunteer Laurie Daniels who takes time to bring the dogs out of their shell. We need a temp foster for Pepe for him to recuperate from his kennel cough before is operated on."
