A New Type of Hybrid (Living/Dining Room) - pic inside
Is it just me, or is this NOT a Living Room / Formal Dining Room?
I'm getting so  with real estate agents descriptions of houses ... I want a dining room. I don't want a breakfast nook that you are calling a dining room!
I'm fine with a large open floorplan that allows room for both a dining room table & also for a living room space.
I know they're fudging the facts to get more buyer traffic to the house ... but it just makes me angry when the listing says it has a dining room, and its just a big eat in kitchen.
This one is a new low IMHO:

I only WISH it was a joke!!
I mean, the rest of the house is nothing to write home about ... but I just got so when I saw the description & then the picture to go with it.
Maybe its supposed to be a new type of extra-cushy banket seating? 
W - T - F is wrong with people?!

I can't believe the REA put it up that way.
Please when I looked at my house, it was listed as a "Formal DR". There is nothing formal about it. It's basically a large open family room. We love the open concept, but I would have loved a Formal DR.

You could eat a fancy tv dinner every night.
Even if I liked the house seeing that would make me not buy the house out of spite.

Unbelievable!
I don't have a DR and we eat on the coffee table if we want to watch TV at the same time.
THIS PIC is the solution to all my problems! I have to show DH tonight.

WOW! That's TERRIBLE! We saw one house that claimed to be 3 bedrooms.....IF you put a bed in the diningroom!

Too, too much! Ours is an l-shaped living/dining room, and I wouldn't call our dining room "formal", though that is how it was listed. But this is way worse!

I would email back the RE and tell them that to help them "further" in their career you own to them to tell them that a formal dining room is a SEPARATE room with walls on at least 2 or 3 sides.
