A Note From My Principal- I Thought Some of You Would Appreciate It...
Tonight feels a little like Christmas Eve. You know that there are goodies to open the next day but you just do not know if you will be happy or disappointed. All I know is that everyone worked very hard to prepare our students for the first common core aligned test. Even if you do not have a "testing grade," the common core and impending test forced us to look at our practice and make some shifts to prepare them for the future. Tomorrow, it is about the kids. We are calm, reassuring and pleasant no matter what the contents of the package looks like. We are their cheerleaders. We will be on our feet, encouraging them and making sure that they are ok. Get a good night sleep. We have done what we can do and now it is time to see how our hard work plays out. I know that we will have great outcomes. Thank you again.

Re: A Note From My Principal- I Thought Some of You Would Appreciate It...
Very different than one of my friend's daughter's teachers told the class that if they are caught with a book or a phone during the test that they will be labeled a cheater by New York state, it will become part of their permanent records and they will never be able to get a drivers license.
The kid was stressing this morning, wondering if she should bring her books to school or not.
