A question about burp cloths

Everyone is telling me to register for the cloth diaper and use it as a burp cloth instead.

Can someone show me which ones? I am looking on BRU and I'm just not sure.

TIA!

Re: A question about burp cloths

I have some of these, from Gerber. They worked great, they're softer than a lot of traditional burp cloths (although I used traditional burp cloths too).

Re: A question about burp cloths

just the plain white ones like this:

Gerber 6-Pack Diaper Service Gauze Diaper - Prefold

or this:

Gerber 12-Pack Diaper Birdseye Flatfold

it doesn't really matter - it's just that they are more absorbent

ETF: spelling

IMO, they were a waste for me since I never used them.

I like the ones from BBB they are really big. They come in a package of 10 or 12.

Re: A question about burp cloths

I got the 12 pack of gerbers from BRU. I think they run like $10 or $11 for the pack. Can't beat that!

Re: A question about burp cloths

any of th ones with the reinforced center panel.
I owuld open the package and check- I bought a huge pack of cloth diapers for a project, and they were just huge gauzey squares- total waste of time to return them.

Yeah they have 2 types. I first bought the ones that are just the gauze (oh well, guess I'll be folding them a few times to use)
when I bought more I got the ones with the thicker center.

I registerd for these. But I also registered for regular burp cloths -- Should I take them off and get more diaper ones?

I have the gerber cloth diapers. This is what my family has always used. Although I have some the "burp cloths" are just to small in my opinion.

I have these, I go through them and am washing them constantly and just opened a second package. DS is now spitting up just a little bit at each feeding and these save my clothes from a dousing most of the time.

True--the ones I use, that hold up well, have the middle panel. It is also nice to have some fancy ones but I got those as gifts. DS is 5 months old and we still use at least one burp cloth with each bottle.
