a question mommies who wash everything before wear ...
Did you wash the carseat before use? I washed all the stuff on the infant seat, but with the convertible, I feel like its not a big deal. WDYT?

I washed all clothes and blankets before wearing, but didn't even think of the car seat. Even less concerned with the convertible. IMO, they're in clothes when they're in the carseat, so their skin isn't really even touching it. I wouldn't bother. HTH!

I didn't because I figured his skin really isn't touching the fabric. I usually wash everything.

That voice is in my head too often too!!!  I never washed them before using.

I did... my newborn chews on the straps.
It was really easy to do. Hung dry it in the shower.
