A question regarding the post on Gerty
Should I move this to another board? Does it make you nervous? I posted here because, well, she's pregnant and really it is kind of a freak thing that has happened, but I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable - should I move it to NFR??

I think its perfectly okay. We all want to support her and pray for her. I think about her all the time, hoping everything is okay bc I couldnt imagine what she is going through.

lol I'm not pg and don't even belong on here but this is the first place I always check for updates on her, because she's pregnant--- and this post is totally family related so it shouldn't be on NFR - though a post about Gerty could fit on any board on this site b/c she's such a part of this online community!

Absolutely not!! Gerty is one of us...her story needs to be here. I often look for updates on her and Rogan, so it doesn't make me nervous. Also, it makes me cherish the little bean growing inside of me even more, after having an early m/c in Nov. and now, reading what Gerty has to endure!! Thank you so much for updating us!!

Definitely doesn't make me uncomfortable. She is pregnant, and what she is going through is pregnancy related.
I think I log on more now (if that's possible) to see updates.

Sometimes all I do is log on and read her updates and keep checking via my blackberry all the way home and to work in the morning.. to hear updates
I know I don't act or seem very concerned often but my heart breaks for her. I'm a quietly anxious person *shrug*
She's preggers and it belongs right here.
IMHO
I know you're doing the best you can and tons of folks post their gratitude to you. I think its a kind thing to do and all of us in this community .. whether we post it or not.. appreciate it.
I can't imagine anyone being heartless enough to say "ok, whatever, update us weekly, we don't need a play by play" if that's what you're concerned about.
Her thread will always be bumped and kept on the front page and it's just the right thing to do.

definitely not. Gerty has friends on every board, I think one should be posted on every board to let everyone know. The more prayers she gets the better. Everyone is really pulling for her!

she is definitely one of us, and this board is her 'home'....
I think it's also brings perspective to all of us to hear all of our trials and tribulations. many women went through #ell to become pregnat, and many others suffer horribly with one complication or another. Sharing our stresses makes us feel like we are not alone while pregnant.
Gerty was there for us when we needed it, and we are all there for her now that she needs our support 
consider us to be one big bloated happy, and extremely close family

I'm not pregnant, but I feel she is pregnant, and her story is part of her pregnancy and is very important that it stays on the pregnancy board (as well as other boards - but especially PG board!!!)

I did not mean to make anyone nervous with the question I asked a few hours ago. As for where the posts should go, when I was pregnant I would have wanted all updates on pregnant LIFers to be right here. Now that I have some more LIF buddies who are pregnant, I continue to look here for updates.
