He is so cute!
The same thing happened to us last year in Dec. DH's entire family went to the Outback for his borthers birthday and while my BIL and SIL were leaving, they heard meowing coming from their van! They immediately stopped the car and after about an hour we coaxed the cat out. My MIL ended up taking him home and his name is "Astro" after the type of van he was in!

question - how did lucky handle having a new little friend in the apt??
what a cute name 
 lucky at first was his usual hissing self and not very friendly--but as of right now he is doing much better and kind of playing with the kitten a lil bit!

What a great story. We came across our cat who our aunt found in her backyard. He is one of the best cats I have ever been around. I hope he finds a good home!
