Abnormal Bleeding..Advice

So I am experiencing abnormal bleeding. Since my last cycle which was April 30th. I bled for 7 days and in another 7 days it came back with horrible pains. Felt like period pains but it only lasted 24hrs. Right now I have a med-light bleed. Feels like it's going away. I made an appt to see my gyno to get this checked out and to have a sono done. I have a feeling I have an ovarian cyst. This bleeding is very annoying and it's getting in the way of TTC. Has anyone else gone through something similar? I am praying and hoping it's nothing serious.

My bleeding has stopped, I haven't got a clue to what it was and my body seems free from all those cramps....but don't worry I am still going to the doctor to figure out. My aunt swears she has esp and I have to say she usually is right on the money...I was told right after Easter is when it's gonna happen for me! I guess we'll see! I'm hoping to get pregnant before the years out!!!! I have no pain just the bleeding is annoying. My appt. is on June 3rd. Can any ladies offer any advice? There is definitely something wrong.

a friend of mine did. it turned out to be a hormonal issue. she was put on pills, Idk what ones, for a cycle or 2 and she was regulated after that.

Don't worry. It could also be a wonky cycle! I was told last month from a CT scan I had an ovarian cyst, but my doctor thinks it was just a fluke that month. I'm going for a sono a few days after you. Don't worry...my dr said this is all very fixable if it turns out to be anything!

Is this the first month it has happened or is it a regular thing? If it only happened once and went away I would just assume it was a freak thing but if it happens for several months I would get it checked out.

I had complained to three different OBs about abnormal bleeding and pain for 10 YEARS. I was told that everything was "normal" and made to feel like I was crazy. No one bothered to do any tests on me even though I knew in my heart something was wrong. I wound up being right all along.

Chances are you are perfectly normal so I am really not trying to scare you but if you feel like something isn't right, get it checked out. And if the bleeding continues and you get brushed off, go get a second opinion.

Thanks Ladies!!! This happened to me last summer and I was put on pills. It was a hormone imbalanced Issue plus I had a cyst on my left ovary. So i am thinking it may be the same thing again. It's a light bleed. They can't put me on BC pills. But there is another pill that stops the bleeding and if it doesn't I would have to have a D&C done. I am not in pain it's just friggen annyoing. My Best friend swear I have PCOS. I will have to talk to my Gyn about that and I'm sure they are gonna run all these tests on me. Hopefully my cycle will go back to normal and hubby and I can get back to TTC.
