Abnormal Sperm Morphology

Has anyone dealt with this? It looks like that is the problem that we are having and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem as well. TIA

We have been dealing with this and I will tell you I got pg twice with IUI's.

Have you spoken to your dr in more detail about it? Most will tell you that IVF is the way to go since they inject the sperm directly in the egg.

We are at the very early stages. My husband has only had one SA done so my OB referred him to a urologist and he will have another SA done. Then I suppose we will take it from there depending on how bad the situation is. On the lab report it says 7% normal. Not sure if that is really bad or just a little bad....

Good idea for your DH to see a urologist. My DH has poor morphology (I think it was 4% normal) and actually conceived 2 children naturally with someone else before we were married, but I also have issues so IVF was the answer for us. I have conceived many times with IUI, so don't rule that out at all. I just have issues, too, which caused the IUI pregnancies not to result in babies.

We are dealing with this as well also in the beginning stages. DH has 3% morphology and a low count. We did our first IUI last week.

My DH has 0-1% morphology... I also had issues though so IVF was the only way we were able to conceive.
