? about tagging someone's photo on facebook...
is there a setting that doesn't allow anyone to tag you in a photo? (before you even get to untag it?)

thanks for answering... reason i ask is b/c i recently posted pics and tagged a few people, and when i went to look at them again, they had already untagged themselves (like 2 secs. later). i thought i didn't do it right, and went to tag them again, but it didn't allow me to tag them again, saying they had already untagged themselves.
i didn't think they were "bad" pics of them, but oh well... i didn't know if there was "etiquette" on this sort of thing. after all, they have tagged me on other pics so i'm really

Not that I'm aware of ...
But I actually have my profile set so only my DH can see tagged photos of me, no one else can see them when they go to my profile.

it identifies you in a photograph, and so when someone clicks on the little thing underneath your profile pic that says "photos of Jane Smith" any picture that you are tagged in comes up.

I think there may be a way for the person posting a photo not to allow tagging on it. There are tagging rules listed somewhere on the site.

i don't think so, but you can set the privacey setting that only allows you to see tagged photos of yourself, and then you can untag when you get a chance
